I recently stayed at Petit Palace Plaza Del Carmen for five days and found it to be a fine hotel for a short break. The location was fantastic—right near major attractions and great for walking, which I loved. However, the room was a bit small for my taste and could use some refreshing. Overall, the friendly staff and excellent Wi-Fi made my stay enjoyable.

Rooms

My room was small but well-appointed, though I wished for more space to unpack my luggage. The bathroom, however, was quite large and had a super shower, which I really appreciated.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They assisted me in booking tickets for local attractions and even surprised me with a bottle of cava!

The hotel's location just south of Gran Via and north of Plaza del Sol couldn’t be better for exploring Madrid on foot. I was minutes away from all major sites.

Breakfast was simple but had a wonderful selection of fresh fruits, cheese, and ham, along with coffee from a Nespresso machine. However, the breakfast room felt a bit cramped during peak times.
Facilities

The hotel had solid amenities, including excellent Wi-Fi, but the common areas like reception and the breakfast room were on the smaller side, making it a bit cozy.

My stay at Petit Palace Plaza del Carmen was overall enjoyable, highlighted by its amazing location and friendly staff. The room was a bit on the smaller side but very clean and comfortable. though I did face a few hiccups with the key card system. The breakfast offered a nice variety, though I found it could have had a bit more selection in terms of pastries and fruits. I would certainly consider staying here again due to the attentive service and central location.

I had a pleasant stay at Petit Palace Plaza Del Carmen, enjoying the excellent location that made it easy to explore Madrid. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring a comfortable experience. However, my room faced a construction site, which caused some noise early in the morning and detracted from the comfort of my stay.

I had a great stay overall, enjoying the really good location and friendly staff. However, the ongoing construction and some room issues dampened the experience a bit. The breakfast was truly good, but some amenities could use better management.

The room was quite comfortable but seemed a bit cramped and lacked sufficient lighting. I had a small balcony which was a nice touch, though I could hear the bustling sounds from the restaurant below, especially with the windows open.
